Easter 2022 was a wonderful weekend of bird photography at RSPB Snettisham and Brancaster Staith in North Norfolk.
I very much enjoy photographing wildlife around Mount Farm Lake. The lake is small with lots of areas to photograph birds within range of my 200-600mm lens.
Red kites are renowned nest predators especially of rooks and crows. which makes these images especially dramatic!
I was fortunate to capture these images of two swans taking off and landing at Mount Farm Lake in Bletchley this week.
Four cygnets take to the water, leaving two eggs behind in the nest.

I have been aware of this nest for some time so I took my camera and long telephoto lens in the hope of seeing something worth capturing. I was not disappointed!

The herons in flight are parents to three chicks and the next few days will be taken up trying to get more intimate images.
The annual Magnolia in bloom is at its peak in the grounds of St Mary’s Bletchley.
Dornoch is well known for links golf and the beauty of the town and sandy beach.
