Spring is a magical time of year, and there’s no better place to experience it than at St. Mary’s Church at sunset. This historic church, located in the heart of Bletchley, is a place of serene beauty and tranquility, especially during the springtime. I had the pleasure of capturing the stunning visuals of this church during a recent sunset with my Sony cinema camera, and the result is a video that showcases the beauty of this historic landmark.

To capture the shots, I used a gimbal to stabilise my camera and create smooth movements.  In post-production, I used FCPX to edit the footage and add a suite of VFX effects to create sun flares, transitions, and to create the perfect mood. The result is a film that’s both visually appealing and emotionally engaging.

One of the highlights of this film is the use of sound effects to create a sense of ambiance and mood. I added bird sounds to the soundtrack. Together, the visuals and sound create an immersive experience.
