The launch of PLEO Reachout marked a pivotal moment in supporting ethnic minority individuals living with disabilities and their families. The event brought together a diverse array of PLEO leaders, Milton Keynes dignitaries, leaders in local government and community members, united in their commitment to inclusivity and empowerment.

I had the honour of being invited to capture the event through professional photography and video. Fifteen videos were delivered, along with over 175 edited photographs, which have been and continue to be used to promote the charity and further its aims in the community.

PLEO Reachout’s mission is to address the unique challenges faced by these communities, including cultural stigmas, language barriers, and systemic inequalities. Through advocacy, counselling, and community outreach, the organisation aims to provide comprehensive support tailored to individual needs.

At its core, PLEO Reachout serves as a beacon of hope, offering a safe space for sharing stories, forging connections, and nurturing dreams. With a collective spirit of resilience and determination, the organisation promises to pave the way for a brighter, more inclusive future.

As we embark on this journey together, let us remember the words of Helen Keller: “Alone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” With PLEO Reachout leading the charge, let us join hands and pave the path toward a world where everyone has the opportunity to thrive, regardless of their background or abilities.
