As a professional photographer, I always strive to find the perfect model for every shoot. For our recent outdoor shoot at Campbell Park and the Theatre District in Milton Keynes, junior was the perfect choice. Not only was he a natural in front of the camera, but he also brought a fun and energetic vibe to the shoot.
We decided to keep things simple by using an off-camera flash with colour gels to create different lighting effects. This allowed us to capture a range of looks without having to lug around heavy equipment. The result was a series of dynamic and eye-catching images that really captured the essence of the location.
One of the things I love about shooting outdoors is that there are always so many interesting and diverse backdrops to choose from. Campbell Park and the Theatre District provided us with plenty of options, and we were able to create a range of moody and atmospheric shots that really made the most of the location.
Post-processing was a breeze thanks to the strong images we captured on the day. I used Lightroom to get basic corrections done and then finished each image with appropriate effects such as colour grading, black and white conversion, and adding clarity in Photoshop as necessary. The end result was a series of stunning images that are perfect for junior’s portfolio and will surely help him to further his modelling career.
We wrapped up the shoot after about an hour, and ended with a hot coffee and a chat. It was a great day out and I’m really happy with the results. I can’t wait to work with junior again in the future and see where his modelling career takes him.
Overall, the shoot was a success and I’m really pleased with the images we created. We used Sony professional cameras and lenses, which are known for their high-quality results, and the post-processing in Lightroom and Photoshop was smooth and efficient. It was a pleasure to work with junior and I’m sure he’ll go on to do great things in the world of modelling.
